Schronisko Boguchwała to miejsce będące pozytywnym przykładem wywiązywania się gminy ze swoich ustawowych obowiązków w zakresie opieki nad zwierzętami i inicjatywy grupy osób, których pasją stało się dopisywanie szczęśliwych zakończeń do smutnych początków.
Stowarzyszenie „Cztery Łapy” zarejestrowane dn. 17.09.2012 w KRS pod nr 0000429143 w ramach wolontariatu zajmuje się poszukiwaniem domów dla zwierzaków, prowadzeniem stron internetowych, akcjami edukacyjnymi, a także wspieraniem personelu schroniska w bieżącej pracy.
