Schronisko dla bezdomnych zwierząt w Jastrzębiu-Zdroju sprawuje opiekę stacjonarną nad bezdomnymi zwierzętami z terenu gminy Jastrzębie-Zdrój oraz gmin, które podpisały stosowną umowę z Jastrzębskim Zakładem Komunalnym. Opieka ta jest jednym z elementów uchwalanego corocznie przez Radę Miasta "Programu opieki nad zwierzętami bezdomnymi oraz zapobiegania bezdomności zwierząt na terenie miasta Jastrzębie-Zdrój". W schronisku przebywa około 70-80 zwierząt.Wszystkie psy gotowe do adopcji są zaszczepione przeciwko wściekliźnie i chorobom wirusowym, zaczipowane i o ile pozwala na to wiek i stan zdrowia - wykastrowane/wysterylizowane.
