Łódzkie Towarzystwo Opieki nad Zwierzętami jest samodzielną, samofinansującą się organizacją pozarządową, powstałą 06.02.1990r. działającą na terenie województwa łódzkiego. Posiadamy status Organizacji Pożytku Publicznego od roku 2005.
Jesteśmy otwarci na współpracę z organami samorządowymi na rzecz ochrony zwierząt. Utrzymujemy się z darowizn i odpisów 1% podatku dla Organizacji Pożytku Publicznego. Jesteśmy organizacją non profit, pracującą tylko na zasadach wolontariatu. Działalność naszych członków jest pracą społeczną, a jedynym wynagrodzeniem radość z niesienia dobra i szczęśliwe oczy uratowanych zwierzaków.
