Działalność statutowa Stowarzyszenia Obrona Zwierząt mieści się w sferze zadań pożytku publicznego, określonych w art. 4 ust. 1 pkt 18 ustawy o działalności pożytku publicznego i o wolontariacie: “ekologia i ochrona zwierząt oraz ochrona dziedzictwa przyrodniczego”. Nasze działania są ściśle zdeterminowane celami wyznaczonymi przez statut, czyli aktywnością na rzecz humanitarnego traktowania zwierząt, ich poszanowania, zapewnienia im opieki oraz kształtowania wśród społeczeństwa właściwego stosunku do zwierząt.
